Please read the following rules carefully before getting started to work.

Responsibilities

As a wiki moderator, your responsibilities include:

• Review Entries (Creating new entries)

  • Has there been a duplicate entry already?
  • Is it necessary to create a new entry?
  • Check the accuracy of the entry term in the corresponding language.

• Review Entries (Edit current entries)

  • Is the tone of the content appropriate?
  • Does the content abide by community rules?
  • Does the entry stay consistent with the in-game content? A brief mention of related background information is acceptable. Referencing or mentioning any fan works is strictly prohibited.
  • Is the layout neat and structured?
  • Are the links and references reasonable?
  • Rate the timeliness (Timely/Delayed) & quality of the content.
  • Provide review opinions.

  <aside> 💡 All HoYoWiki content must be based on the official game server. Content released in the beta server and any previewed changes mentioned in Notices (not in-game yet) are strictly prohibited from being included in any entry.

  <aside> 💡 In principle, we advise against large-scale deletion or modification of any reviewed content that has been launched.

  </aside>

• Carry out timely locking/unlocking of content that does not require repeated editing.

• Timely assign tasks of rectifying user-found mistakes to editors and supervise them until the tasks are complete.

Expectations

General Tasks:

• It is best to complete the review within 48 hours after the entry is submitted, and it is best not to exceed 72 hours
• If there are many entries to be reviewed, please complete the entry review according to the priority
• Check for format consistency
• Communicate errors to writers in your respective language
• Create a google sheet for ONLY errors that need to be fixed for all languages. Once the error is remedied in all languages, please hide the error or delete it so that the sheet does not become too long
• Join writers in discussions about new formats
• Assist writers with obtaining images or gifs if they are having difficulty
• If you can't complete the review for the drafts on the new version upcoming, please DM the Staff
